Evaluating ethanol cooking potential in Madagascar

This project evaluated the potential for using ethanol as a domestic cooking fuel in Madagascar. The project assessed cooking energy requirements in different zones of the country, and evaluated the viability of current fuels and technologies against the ethanol alternative. ERG reviewed household energy sector in Madagascar and contributed to the ethanol market assessment.
