Navigating regulatory requirements for IPP engagement in Ethiopia's power sector
ERG reviewed the permitting process for IPP engagement in the power sector in Ethiopia for a company shortlisted for the Metahara 100MW solar plant tender. All relevant federal and regional level laws and procedures applicable in Ethiopia for IPP engagement were reviewed. A process map for meeting the regulatory requirements including time and finance required was prepared.
