Assessment of vulnerability and adaptation to climate change in the energy sector in Ethiopia

Building climate resilience in Ethiopia's energy sector

ERG assessed the vulnerability of the energy sector to climate change and proposed adaptation strategies and actions for the sector. ERG identified vulnerability in biomass supply due to reduced productivity in forests and agriculture, and in the power sector due to reduced water flows. The study also outlined lessons from traditional adaptation strategies.
